HOW IS YOUR LOVE WALK?

1John 4:20  If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen. 
1John 4:21  And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him: that he who loves God shall love his brother [believer] also. 

We did nothing to deserve God's love. God loved us before time manifested. God loves us still in our good and bad decisions in life. But why can't we display the same love towards others? Why can't we love the God loves us, as we continue to fall short of His glory daily? Are we professional LIARS?
