KENNETH WAYNE SAM   Running for Constable 2020 Fort Worth Texas Precinct 8

Born raised Beaumont, Texas attend Beaumont French High School graduated 1978.

Earned Football scholarship from Kilgore Junior College 1978 majoring in Business Administration and Accounting.

Accepted football scholarship transferred to Rice University to compete in Southwest Conference 1980. Completed my degree plan 1982 earning bachelor’s degrees in Managerial Studies and Political Science.

Completed Lamar University Regional Police Academy 1983 worked Beaumont Police Department 1983-1986

Entered Fort Worth Police Academy class #75 1986. I was selected president of 42 members class graduated March 1987.

1988-1990 Narcotics, (SAU) Special Approach Unit target street level distribution.

1990-1994 (TCNICU) Tarrant County Narcotics Task Force 

1994-1999 Fort Office (DEA) Drug Enforcement Administration as Task Force Officer 

1999-2008 (NTHIDTA) North Texas High Intensity Drug Task Force

2009-2012 (CTU) Criminal Tracking Unit

2012-2017 (SOD) Special Operations, Intelligence, Vice Permits, Narcotics 

Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Master Peace Officers Certification 1999

Currently completed 5000 hours of mandated training and continuing education classes.

Earned numerous Commendations for outstanding service twice received Officer of the Year Special Operations 1994 and 2004.
