ECU BASKETBALL PREVIEW: Dooley, Pirates looking to lay winning foundation

Since Joe Dooley's hiring in April, there has been excitement for ECU basketball unlike any in recent memory. With the opener just a week away, we were at the recent media day at the Smith-Williams Center where we caught up with Coach Dooley, 2017-18 AAC Rookie of the Year Shawn Williams, senior guard Isaac Fleming and sophomore forward Dimitrije Spasojevic. We also caught up with former Dooley Era post player Neil Punt, long time Pirate IMG Network color analyst Si Seymour and the head of the Minges Maniacs, Davis Searcy.
