ECU Basketball Preview - HPU and AD Search!

The Pirates get a big win Wednesday night over Prairie View A and M.  The Pirates won 76-64 over the Panthers.  Freshmen Jayden Gardner scored 28 points and 17 rebounds.  The Pirates have a big game Saturday Afternoon at 5pm against High Point University.  HPU is now coached by Tubby Smith.  The legendary coach comes back to lead his alma mater in the Southern Conference.

Had a chance to catch up with our friend, David Glenn from the David Glenn Show.  DG and Dave Richmond talk ACC Championship in Football, and the current situation at ECU.  

What will happen with the AD Search?  Who will be the next AD at ECU?  Will there be a coaching?  If so, then who will hire the next coach?  There are a lot of questions in Greenville.  Pirate Nation is anxious to have these questions answered.

The big event is Saturday December 15th from 2-4pm at Professor O'Cools in Greenville.  We are honoring the 1978 ECU Pirate Football Team.  They won the Independence Bowl.  35-13 over the LA Tech Bulldogs.   There will be a number of former players and coaches that will attend that day.  The event is free and open to the public.  If you plan on attending, then RSVP at TheSportsOBJ@gmail.com.
