East Carolina Athletics facilities have some of the most beautiful and quality playing surfaces in the nation. Who is responsible for seeing that Bagwell Field at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Lewis Field at Clark-LeClair Stadium and the other playing and practice surfaces are in prime shape? That is Joey Perry--or the "Sodfather", as he was dubbed by Troy D of Pirate Radio 1250 & 930! Joey, who has been at East Carolina for nearly two decades, joined the show and gave us some insight at what his job entails while also sharing some funny stories about some of the coaches he has worked with.
