There is no formular to prayer, but a pure and truthful repentance heart coming before God The Father. Just as we except and come into Salvation, we are to approach God in prayer the same way in a mentally posture heart of repentance, knowing we need help and answers for life's everyday from God.  Why? because we are still wrap up in humanity and dieing daily to this carnal mind, so we must watch as well as pray as the bible said.
