This Tuesday on the Conversation a new law says California health care workers who “willfully and repeatedly” decline to use a senior transgender patient's “preferred name or pronouns” could face punishments ranging from a fine to jail time. The sponsor says that would not happen but I will give my thoughts on that statement.  "The vice president as many know stayed, stood, and honored the flag and anthem while it was performed. He chose not to stay and honor the players who disrespected that flag." — Peter Heck My be all end all view of this debate.   Barack and Michelle Obama will want to think about lowering their offer on the exclusive NYC residence they’ve been eyeing. I will explain why they should do this unless it is a selling point to them.  Jemele Hill,  is an ESPN anchor who called for fans to boycott the NFL, has been suspended for two weeks by the network. What she did and why they let her go? This and my view on the whole matter.  “In reality, the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1492 created colonialism, enslavement and the forced removals of the tribes that followed the ‘discovery of America.'” Harvard University is the latest of a growing number of colleges to add "Indigenous Peoples’ Day” to its calendar.  The 17-year-old has not stood for years in class because she doesn’t believe the flag represents justice for everyone.
