It's still February which means it's still Black History Month. Fred Hampton's legacy has been talked about but not to the point a movie had to depict the story. Being one of the engines that drove the Black Panthers in Chicago and surrouding areas he was on a mission of uniting the oppressed to realize their true power. But like most that speak truth to power, they are silenced by the American government and their various branches of law enforcement. This movie is no different at the defining moments. At the end of the day, the one continuous threat to American security was and still is Negro Unity. Why is that still the case? What do they think will happen? Why are they so adamant to keep it supressed? its 2021 and we still have those questions that refused to be answered by those they are posed to. Why are we sjust starting to learn that the Black Panther Party shouldnot have been defined in the same group as the KKK? Inquiring minds would like to know. All this, new music from the soundtrack and the latest entertainment news all in one place.
