Trish Buscemi started a painting business-Two Sisters Painting in 2009. She became certified as a Color Consultant in 2011 to assist people in choosing the right color of paint to coordinate with the lighting, their furnishings, and their lifestyle. Most Interior Designers don’t really have knowledge about color and have asked Trish to partner with her. Color can make a huge difference in motivating individuals to learn, perform more efficiently at work, increase mental and physical healing, and help with memory. Everything in our world is in color. Toddlers learn color before anything else. Color represents symbols, traditions, emotions, communication, and has universal acceptance. Recently, Trish has worked with parents of Special Needs children (ADD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Down Syndrome) because color can make a difference in their lives. Children with a heightened sensory see colors differently. Colors can affect neuro-pathways to motivate learning, increase memory, and stimulate an effective learning environment for the child. Colors Matter has also donated time and talent to the Make a Wish Foundation. In January Colors Matter will be leading a team for the Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity All Women Build that will be completed for Mother’s Day 2013. Trish is also a speaker for the Sugarland Home and Garden Show in January, and the Cy-Fair Home and Garden Show in February.
