Vernetta R. Freeney enjoys her life now and encourages other women to forget about the ups, downs, and turnarounds of life and stay focused on being a Gamechanger. She worked in non profits for 5 years, taught elementary for 4 years and taught ESL to Corporate employees in the Oil and Gas industry for 1.5 years. After graduating with her Masters in Education Administration, she decided to step away from the 9-5 after being forced to resign from teaching. She now runs an award winning, popular business blog for women and is the owner of Women Are Gamechangers LLC.

Tonya believes in showing her audiences throughout the world how to develop such areas as unique brands, multiple income streams throughout their business, sales and leveraged connections. 

She gives her audience new ideas and help them transform their bottom line to grow and explode their business immediately following the presentation!  “I don’t just talk it, I help you walk it!” is not just a slogan but a code of conduct and ethics.  Each presentation is designed to give her audience the maximum exposure to the ideas and formulas that anyone can turn around and implement. 

 Tonya has won the eWomenNetwork International Conference Business Match Maker of the Year award in 2008.  She has been nominated numerous times for such honors as the Austin Business Journal’s Profiles in Power award and The Best Business Connectors in Dallas by the U.S. Small Business Conference.

Her newest creation is her book "A Client A Day the Coffee Shop Way!"  She speaks on this topic which covers finding, receiving, closing and keeping new clients!
