Bob Dudley accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 14 years old. I grew up in poverty until I dropped out of school during my senior year of high school. I joined the US Army as a private in the infantry where I earned my GED and finished high school. After my 3 years in the army, I earned a BS in Physics and joined the US Air Force where I eventually retired as a Major after 17.5 years of service (also, getting a BS in Aerospace Engineering and an MS in Astronautical Engineering). After a few years working as an aerospace engineer for a government contractor, my wife (Cathy) and I quit our jobs to attend Capital Bible Seminary. Since then, I have split my time between my real estate companies, the foundation, and writing.

Paul Beaumont was an evangelical Christian for 25 years having been converted as a thoughtful 16-year old. After a quarter of a century of God's absence from my life I decided that enough was enough and Jesus and I parted company. There were no hard feelings on either side! After becoming an apostate I wrote and had published my debut novel, A Brief Eternity, which was shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize. It is a witty parody of what would really happen if Jesus returned to judge the living and the dead.
