Writers Nation Radio with Hosts Kaneen Morgan and Shalanda Norman with Special Guest Maura Sweeney & Ebie Andrew:

Maura Sweeney - Author, Podcaster, International Speaker and Huffington Post Blogger, Maura Sweeney uplifts and engages with a “Living Happy – Inside Out” mantra. Her Art of Happiness book series inspires readers to find new hope and brighter perspectives on a host of issues that confront and confound us all, like comfort zones, competition, judgment and nonsense. A frequent media guest and popular lecturer on Influence, Leadership and Personal Branding, Maura is a next gen thought leader inspiring others to become their happiest and most authentic self. Turning her vocation into an entrepreneurial business, she’s just released her first eCourse entitled, “Foundations of Happiness”.

Ebie Andrew - worked in the healthcare industry as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for more than 20 years.
In that time I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient clinics and in home health. I spent 6 years in Skilled Nursing Facilities and spent 3 of those years as a Rehab Director. That is where I learned quite a bit about how the type of care provided drives the profit. I spent the last 12 years working in the Home Health industry. Each year my visits became longer, with my first visit often taking over an hour as I educated my clients in not just physical therapy, but how to manage all the different demands of their healthcare needs. It was during these visits that I became painfully aware of the lack of education available to the general public on how to manage their healthcare. As the speed with which the industry continues to change increased, I came to realize how crucial this information was to each person I interacted with.
