My name is Sheena Pertrice Slaton known as Sheena Pertrice to my friends and family. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA at Grady Memorial Hospital. I am a Defined Contribution Specialist, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker who loves helping others in my community and I have 2 beautiful children that means everything to me. I love life and everything that it has to offer even the things that can change it drastically. My life changed literally overnight back in February on the 22nd of this year 2018. I experienced the most excruciating pain that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy when the knot in my left breast grew to the size of a kiwi. After that first appointment and that day alone my life changed within a matter of 24 hours. As crazy as is may sound, but I am thankful for the dis-ease that tried to reek havoc in my body and take my life because it has allowed me gain and have the intimacy that I have always seeked with God, but at the time kept hitting a brick wall. Through my journey I have come to know God and allowed him to transform me into the being that I exude now. My journey has turned me into a walking miracle of God's work and words that he is real and that he comes to heal and restore. I am blessed to have the opportunity to share my journey and to educate God's people on the importance of breast health and to empower women to strengthen their sprituality on all levels.
