The Psalmist Voice Presents: Marissa Ruiz of Heart Of Martha Effort.

Marissa Ruiz was born and raised on the island of St.Croix, USVI. For as long as she could remember, she has always had a heart for helping people; particularly people who are facing homelessness. She befriended homeless people wherever she went and volunteered at a homeless shelter while in college. Marissa aspired to help homeless people on a bigger scale and began the non profit, Heart of Martha Effort (H.O.M.E.) in July 2020. Her mission is to positively impact the lives of those who are facing homelessness through love and selflessness. H.O.M.E. hosts food drives and provides those who are facing homelessness with hot meals, toiletries, clothes, and other basic necessities. The non-profit has solely relied on community assistance, prayers, and donations. H.O.M.E. donations can be sent via PayPal to heartofmartha@outlook.com.
