Saying a special farewell to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D) TX, she was 74,  After a long battle w/pancreatic cancer. She was born on 12 Sep 1950 in Queens NY. She graduated from Yale and was a Municipal Judge in Houston TX as well as a city council woman before representing TX's 18th Congressional District in '94. At the time of her death, she was a chief deputy whip for House Democrats and a vice chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. She formerly served as whip of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Byron Donald, Shame shame dummy.  According to The Florida Trident, Donald was arrested for possession w/intent to distribute and stealing money from FAMU, an HBCU. All these accusations from his ex-wife whom he left for the White woman (side chick) he got pregnant. He asked for a speedy divorce so he could marry her before she gave birth. What a complete scumbag.

GA State BOE sued for holding secret meeting on July 12th. It was unlawful and violated the Open Mtgs Act. WE can't win. Sara Tindall Ghazal, and John Fervier were not invited. Their explanation, the mtg held on July 6th was never adjourned but they didn't tell the other members about the continuance.
