This week, Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes to you from the City of Lights: Paris, France, and more specifically, from the newly-renovated Hotel Plaza Athénée. The Hotel Plaza Athénée opened in 1913, and has seen a lot of Parisian history in more than 100 years. In 2010, the property was awarded Palace distinction—one of only five hotels in Paris to share that honor.
Joining Peter this week are Laurant Poncelet, concierge at the Hotel Plaza Athénée, to talk truffles and baby lions (all in a day’s works as a concierge); Valerie Wilson, legendary travel agent, to share the best reason to start your own business; and Leigh Gallagher of Fortune Magazine, to discuss why the suburbs are dying.
All this and more, on this episode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from Hotel Plaza Athénée.
