You Play Too Much-Blacks in Games
“You play too much” is a phrase typically used by Africans in the Americas to indicate that
someone is continually playing games and isn't taking something seriously. But what if everything around you really is a game? The history of games takes one to Africa where they had many meanings and were played by people at every level of society. Recently Colleges and universities have begun to give scholarships not only for physical games, but digital games as well. We will take a look at the exploding industry of gaming to find out what black people need to do to position themselves for a win. Let the games begin!


Baba Kentu is a teacher of african spiritual sciences whose areas of inter- ests range from word power to rituals. Lastly, Baba Kentu is the clinical di- rector of the Djed Institute of Learning, an academic and behavioral service provider that specializes in african-centered education and the seven liberal arts.
