Kevin Zeese Speaks Out with His Comrade Al Suarez on Vanguard Youth Radio
Recently released from a DC jail, Kevin Zeese, is one of the last 4 embassy protectors at the Venezuelan embassy!
With permission of Maduro's government, the elected government in Venezuela, about 70 comrades in mid April this year became temporary occupants of the embassy till a deal could be made after a rupture of relations between the US and Venezuelan governments. Low on water and food, caught off by Venezuelan exile fascists, the SS and DC cops, as Al Suarez and others tried to deliver the last four food, they will talk about being reunited in DC, as they have known each other 8 years since the formation of Occupy DC, Kevin was a part of. We will talk to this activist leader, who is co founder of Popular Resistance, and along with other organizations like Code Pink and ANSWER Coalition, became embassy protectors. Only four were left in the end, including Kevin, his wife Margaret Flowers, and two other comrades.
First photo used was taken by fellow embassy protector Alex Rubeinstein as the 4 marched on the White House upon their release from jail. Second one is of Suarez and head of Poor Peoples Army Cheri Honkala, who took part in actions with Suarez to try to get food into the embassy.
