Regulars Wanted

Jenifer and Christian Eggert opened Regulars Wanted in May of 2019. After holding onto the name for a decade, Jenifer and Christian finally had the opportunity to make their dreams become reality. Their goal: to be a part of the community and welcome regulars and tourists alike. The term “beanery” is a turn of the century word for an affordable place to eat, similar to a cafe, often serving beans.This was perfect for the late 1800’s town of Julian, CA.

Christian loved cooking and tasting various heirloom beans in culinary school, and wanted to bring the same tastes to everyone. We rotate different varieties of heirloom beans, along with chilis and other great dishes! All our dishes and baked goods are made from scratch, and made with fresh products. Additionally, we use fair trade, organic coffee beans for our drip-coffee and specialty drinks.

We hope the next time you’re in Julian, you visit our beanery. Sit down for a meal, or a cup of coffee and fresh scone, and become one of our Regulars. We look forward to meeting you.
