Monthly Special: Healing Our Planet! Local Food = Global Health + Students Teach Sustainability

The Voice of Change...Healing Our Planet is delighted to welcome Dr. Kristofer and Joanne Young to talk about Local Food - Global Health. In 2009 the Young's lived on all local food with few exceptions. What they learned was amazing. In 2010 they are encouraging people to join the world-wide local food project, Lacavore Lite 2010. In addition, Jessica Jones and Cameron Williams, Co-presidents of Students for Sustainable Communities at Santa Rosa junior College will join me. Jessica is a Waldorf teacher in training and an aspiring Environmental Lawyer. Cameron is a computer wiz and working to educate students and the outer community on how to live sustainably. Both will share about the numerous projects they are involved in.
