Power of Darkness is illustrated as the chief priests, captains of the temple, and the elders came to get our Lord. This was the beginning of his journey to the cross and the redemptive triumph for all believers today and all time. They came to the Son of God who healed all who came to him. He did not resist, yet they came to him as if he were a thief using swords and staves. He had been daily in the temple, yet in this hour he said, "this is your hour, and the power of darkness." He knew very well the hour and time he would be taken. He knew what was coming, along with the physical pain and torment along with all the Jews and others who laughed and mocked him.

Make no mistake, there is the #powerofdarkness and in our world we can see. In our advocacy we report on this weekly as we see #Christians #persecuted, facing #death, #imprisonment, and even loss of house and family.  Howbeit, even this power of darkness could not stop the #triumph of #calvary and the #redemption of those who believe in #Yeshua, #JesusChrist.  Even in the darkness, we as believers found in #ChristJesus are the light in that dark. The world moves to quell the power of the #LordJesus: His redemption, His healing, His deliverance, and all that is encompassed in Jesus Christ to the glory of the Father. None of which cannot be stopped by any power anywhere at all. In Christ we are #victorious no matter what we face. Even our trials cannot stop us nor death.
