Excuses are the crutches for the uncommitted.    Luke 14:16-24

“Not managing your time and making excuses are two bad habits. Don't put them both together by claiming you don't have the time.” God has given us 24 hours in each day.  God in His ultimate wisdom knew that 24 hours would be enough time to take care of everything that you would need to take care of for yourself, family, jobs, enjoyment, and rest, but most of all it’s also enough time to give Him glory. If 24 hours was not enough time God would have made the day 36 hours for you to be effective. We must learn how to prioritize the time that God has gaven us. When you see someone that have it all together their home is in order, they take care of themselves, they find time for the needs of others and find time for the things of God. Don’t get it twisted they are operating in the same 24 hour; we all should examine ourselves. We must stop wasting time sweating the small stuff and use the time that God has given us so that our living would not be in vain. 24 hours in a day is a gift from God what we do with it is a gift to God. I was speaking to someone the other day and he was speaking about those who success and others who don’t.  He stated that those who success are the ones that are committed to their plans and to the will of God and other who fail by making excuses. Excuses takes on many forms, such as rationalizing the most nonsense, justifying things that are not real, and at times passing the blame onto others for their shortcomings.

However, as Christians, we are called to obey God’s commands and trust in His plan for our lives.  He made 24 hours enough
