“Move forward with the word of God”    Matthew 6:24-33

A New Year's resolution is a tradition, in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement or something nice.

Making resolutions can be a good thing, but you must begin with the end in mind, realizing that you must make lifelong changes not just for a year.

We must begin to set our sight on things above which would guarantee success when we realize that only what you do for Christ will last. We should make our plans with a spirit of expectance knowing with God all things are possible.

You must prepare your self for the change by STOP:

1. Trying to please everybody  2. Fearing Change  3.Living in the past 4. Putting Yourself down 5. Overthinging Remember all the provision necessary to achieve your changes are already provided by God.

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Don’t worry find joy and have faith which is total confidence in God as your provider.  You have to trust Him, but you can’t totally trust Him until you truly know Him, His way and His will which can be found in the Word of God.

Join us as we end the year 2023 and embrace for 2024.
