Christ resurrection sealed all of His promises. The resurrection of Jesus is important to Christians because it shows that Jesus defeated death, it shows proof of life after death, it Proves God’s omnipotence, that nothing is imposable with God, it demonstrates that Jesus’ “blood of the new covenant” saves His people from their sins and it symbolizes Jesus’ destruction of the power of sin and the possibility of an afterlife in Heaven.  Without the resurrection once we die, we wouldn’t be able to rise to new life. The Christian faith revolves around the resurrection of Jesus. It is the pin that holds every doctrine, every practice, and every belief together. If we deny the resurrection, we deny the very basis of the Christian faith. Sadly, there are many people today who deny this fundamental truth. The resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without it, the belief in God’s saving grace through Jesus would be undermined. Because Jesus lives, believers have hope for eternal life.
