Pete Barber is a published author of three novels.  When A Warrior Comes Home, Love Poison, and NanoStrike.

Born into a blue-collar family in Liverpool, England, Pete immigrated to the US in the early 90s and settled in North Carolina.

He's led a haphazard life, putting bread on the table as a plumber, computer programmer, salesperson, marketing executive, hotel operator, real-estate developer, and llama breeder.

About seven years ago, Pete reached a point where he was able to slow down and chose how to spend most of his time.

Unlike many authors, Pete can’t honestly say he's always wanted to write fiction. But he did always found that time disappears when he's putting words on paper. So he decided to give it a try.

Pete confesses the learning curve has been way steeper than he anticipated. But he feels he's reached a place, now, where he can turn out a decent story.  Although only a reader can be the judge of that.

Pete likes to write the type of novels he enjoys reading: fast-paced, multi-threaded stories that make him wonder–what if?

He'd be honored if you chose to spend some of your time inside one of his stories.
