Today's topic: NIKE's film 12 Miles North the Nick Gabaldon Story.

Nick Gabaldon, is the first documented, African American surfer. Nick learned to swim at Santa Monica's Ink Well Beach, a 200 sqt ft roped off stretch of beach on the coast of southern California.

Join host, The Queen of Xtreme, Rhonda R. Harper as she discussed the controversy behind the movie.

WUN Magazine's own Rhonda R Harper, an African American surfer, requested a plaque at Ink Well Beach in memorial of Nick Gabaldon and the patrons of Ink Well Beach.

Her guests include, Dogtown Skateboard legend, Pep Williams and California US Senate hopeful, Diane Stewart.
