HOW DO YOU PROCEED THE FIGHT FOR EQUALITY 20 YEARS FROM NOW? PT. 2

The fight for justice must reflect the forward-thinking approach exemplified by the United States Armed Services in order to eradicate racial injustices and disparities within America. Specifically, those who support equality must develop forward-thinking strategies and tactics designed to adequately address racism and systematic disparities anticipated in the year 2030 and beyond. This forward-thinking approach is partly responsible for America’s military dominance during the past 40 years.

Example, F-22 Project Manager Sherman Mullin addressed these critics by stating, “The big weakness in their argument is they’re making statements about world conditions today, and what the threats are today. The real issue is, what capability do you what for 2025 or 2030. The people who say you don’t need this, they think the world is not going to change in the next 20 years. And, that is a hell of an assertion”. Currently, the F-22 is the most dominate air-to-air fighter jet ever developed. The F-22 is so dominate, that near-peer adversaries and allies have ‘given-up’ attempts to develop comparable fighter jets. Russia stopped trying. China has developed 5th generation fighters; partly due to stolen American military secrets. Nevertheless, all nations are literally playing ‘catch up’ to American military technologies developed 40+ years ago.

Racism and systemic oppression are serious and dangerous threats to America, which must be addressed with forward-thinking solutions. What will racism look like in the year 2030? What will systemic oppression and suppression look like in 2035? What disparity shifts should we expect in 2040? What tools, tactics, and strategies must we develop now to address these threats?
