Vel Lewis,  Award-winning Hammond ® organist/keyboardist, synthesizer, drums also electric bass guitar, along with being an accomplished singer, producer, and arranger. Lewis's music can be found on well-known TV shows The Sopranos, Mad About You, Friends, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and many more. Vel Lewis began his music career in 1965 as a 1st soprano vocalist. He attended Settlement Music School for vocal/piano training. He also began studies on the concert flute. In 1966, he switched from flute to organ. In 2005, he released his first solo debut album "All Wound Up" under the stage name of Shady Grady. His single, “Houston Strong” which he dedicated to all the Harvey survivors, landed on the 61st Annual Grammy Awards ballot for consideration, making it his third song on a Grammy ballot. And now Michael Garvin is a world-class songwriter, guitarist, and trumpeter, hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana. Garvin’s first success came as a songwriter and is widely known for penning the global Number One hit, “Waiting for Tonight” recorded by Jennifer Lopez, and the worldwide, multi-platinum “Never Give Up on a Good Thing” for George Benson. Working in multiple countries and genres, Garvin’s MO is to bring elements from one music style to another, always keeping what he delivers fresh and exciting. Garvin now brings the same hit-making skills and passion that make him a star songwriter to being an instrumental recording artist, bringing all his skills together, as a composer, a player, and a producer. He has already released five singles with significant chart activity in SmoothJazz and Groove Jazz.          Vel and Garvin have come together and created music now to present on the show 2 new singles 'Bossaflowz, and 'Playtyme', tune in!
