a more sure word of Prophecy

salm 41:1.

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. CSA 58.4

Psalm 82:3, 4.

He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. CSA 58.5

Proverbs 14:31.

He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. CSA 58.6

Proverbs 19:17.

Our Lord Jesus Christ came to this world as the unwearied servant of man’s necessity. He “took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses,” that He might minister to every need of humanity. Matthew 8:17. The burden of disease and wretchedness and sin He came to remove. It was His mission to bring to men complete restoration; He came to give them health and peace and perfection of character. CSA 59.1

Varied were the circumstances and needs of those who besought His aid, and none who came to Him went away unhelped. From Him flowed a stream of healing power, and in body and mind and soul men were made whole. CSA 59.2
