This week's theme: Industrial- Police-Intelligence Complex, will focus on the intersection between various governmental entities and the kinds of policies csrried out. Specifically, we will deconstruct the relationships between the federal and state bureaucracy in a time of endless war. What is the necessity of this relationship? States for decades have decreed the federal government's interference unacceptable. What has changed? More than ever Washington's dictates have not only found its mark but has been quite successful corraling and neutralizing any state policy which Washington unapproves. Consequently, the states are unabled to articiculate, or even defend, the interests of its citizens. This has resulted in less rights, less justice, or basic planning, economic and otherwise- that would be of useful to state planners. These concerns will be addressed by discussing three articles: First, " A Quarter Century of War: U.S Drive for Global Hegemony, Secondly, "Blue Lives Matter Legislation" and lastly, "Prison Pipeline." As always, your commnets or statements are always welcomed. You can engage the program by tuning into www.blogtalkradio.com/ africa-on-the-move or call in at (323) 679-0841.
