Professor Applewhite discusses information about a college student who shares that he has frequent mood changes. At times, he feels on top of the world and other times he feels very depressed and irritable with everyone around him. After being diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, he refused to take his prescribed medication because he felt his sex life, performance at work, and night classes were being negatively affected. Many persons, including students and teachers, are concerned about whether they or someone close may have Bipolar Disorder, Depression or other mental health conditions and how these conditions influence their performance. Also, enjoy other teachers, counselors, and Nazim Rashid as he shares related issues from his upcoming book “Reconnected”.
