The staff members of White Apple Institute are concerned about the STRESS related to racism that many students, teachers and veterans are feeling as a result of the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin verdict. This rebroadcast will hopefully encourage those dealing with STRESS to seek counseling or use the stress-relieving techniques discussed. So many professionals are trying to help in understanding our violent times; however, many of the solutions are increasing stress, specifically in classrooms. The association of mental disabilities with violence and gun control has also caused great controversy. Join Dr. Danita Applewhite and guests as they share positive ways to handle stress in the midst of violent times.
