Here is a general legal overview (not legal or investment advice) of the SEC lawsuit filed in December of 2020 against Ripple Labs (now XRP).  This lawsuit alleges that Ripple is selling unregistered securities to "investors."  Will the lawsuit hold up or will the price skyrocket to the moon?  I think we will have the answer this year (2022).
