Food Insecurity and hunger in the United States

Lee Cougardawn Roberts and Donna Kshir discuss rising food costs and the growing food insecurity in the United States.  As food prices continue to increase the number of families and individuals going hungry is also rising. Food pantries and churches are stretched as they work to help feed their communities. What can you do to help your family and community? Resources are available but many are stretched far too thin. Gardening is a possible option for some depending on their resources and residential policies. We will share tips and ideas from our collective experiences on eating healthier and stretching meals on a limited or tight budget.
