At 33 years old, Mercedes brings a unique perspective to her writing, combining her expertise in various fields. With a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts specializing in Criminal Justice, Mass Communication, and Art, as well as a Life Coach Certification from IAP College, she has a diverse educational background that enriches her storytelling.

Mercedes's writing journey stems from her mental health business, Safe Talk. As the founder of this call/venting service, she offers a safe space and a listening ear for her clients, alongside life coaching services. Inspired by the experiences and insights gained through Safe Talk, she has crafted a book that aims to bring joy and laughter to those navigating challenging times and feeling defeated by life's obstacles.
