Leroy Harris spent TWENTY-NINE years in prison for robbery and sexual assault charges until new evidence obtained by the Innocence Project proved his innocence, but in order for him to be released he had to agree to enter an Alford plea. In the end, he wanted more than anything to be reunited with his family and spend time with his ailing mother. The "miscarriage of justice" he has endured is gut wrenching. Unfortunately, thousands of innocent Black Men have been subjected to this type of unfair and unjust treatment by the criminal justice system. Tune in to hear his compelling story.
