BAMS ruminates about the first closed scrimmage

It wouldn't be a football season at Alabama without some injuries for fans to slam their desks about. Trey Sanders is not expected back, and there were some dings during this past weekend's scrimmage that we talk about as well. It wasn't all bad news, though, as several Tide players look to be playing winning football for the team. Markhail Benton played a solid scrimmage, and there was a Ben Davis sighting. Overall, it was another step on the path to Duke in a couple of weeks, and there are still plenty of reasons for Alabama fans to be excited for the 2019 football season.
