Nick Davis is a writer, director, and producer. He is the son of film director Peter Davis and the late Johanna Mankiewicz Davis. His paternal grandparents were the novelist and screenwriter Tess Slesinger and the screenwriter Frank Davis. His maternal grandfather was the screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz. He has written a book on the Mankiewicz brothers titled, "Competing with Idiots: Herman and Joe Mankiewicz, a Dual Portrait."

We'll get into his family history and the brothers' impact on that era of film, as well as the rest of the pop culture scene of the late 30's and through the 40's.

So, join us at 7:30pm ET on the latest episode of the Bedford & Sullivan Podcast!
