Because it is vitally important that young people learn the difference between the destructive nature of a riot versus an organized protest, we pick up today’s dialogue from the powerful discussion on the “Holy Week Rising” of 1968 and continue the discussion with emphasis on the many riots and conflicts between African Americans and Whites in America over the last 102 years. The objective is to lay out a clear plan for forward progress for those who have historically felt marginalized by adverse socioeconomic conditions.
