Russell Targ is a physicist, scientific researcher, and author whose pioneering contributions to laser and laser communications has earned him two National Aeronautics and Space Administration awards. Targ cofounded the Stanford Research Institute’s twenty-five million dollar, twenty year, government-sponsored investigation of psychic abilities and remote viewing - the ability to accurately describe and experience what’s going on in a distant place, even thousands of miles away. These pioneering experiments routinely presented results that had less than one in a million by chance alone.
