Join us this week on TRU SKOOL, with your host Shango Blake, for our talk with Hip Hop Artist, Activist, and Educator Maurice Williams aka MoeSlinga: MoeSlinga will tell us his story about the challenges growing up in Far Rockaway Queens, his experiences as a student within in NYC Board of Education, The trails of being incarcerated, How he went from being a prisoner to earning his Master Degree, and what we must do to break the school to prison pipeline. In addition, we will talk to MoeSlinga about how he is currently using his artistry to educate and uplift his community.
