Join suspense author Sherry Knowlton for the second episode in a limited podcast series, DEAD on the DELTA: An African Adventure. Today’s show focuses on Knowlton’s experiences on safari and doing research for the book on Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Knowlton will introduce listeners to Botswana and the Okavango Delta and the wildlife she’s seen there. She’ll also discuss a typical day on safari, why she’s drawn to the Okavango, and her month spent in Botswana doing research for DEAD on the DELTA.

Stay Tuned: If you want to hear more about how to take your own safari, a later episode of the podcast will return to the topic of safari when Knowlton and a guest from AAA Central Penn Travel offer tips for taking a safari.

Sherry Knowlton is the author of the Alexa Williams series of suspense novels including Dead of Autumn, Dead of Summer, Dead of Spring, Dead of Winter and Dead on the Delta.  Passionate about books at an early age, she was that kid who would sneak a flashlight to bed at night so she could read beneath the covers. All the local librarians knew her by name. When not writing the next Alexa Williams thriller, Knowlton works with her health care consulting business or travels around the world. She and her husband live in the mountains of South Central Pennsylvania.Knowlton is embarking on this series of podcasts to celebrate the release of her latest Alexa Williams novel, DEAD on the DELTA, and to talk about its setting, the African Wild. www.sherryknowlton.com
