Rose Hullermann was the Queen of the Ball, a deserved honor of her US Paralympian Wheelchair Basketball in 2016. Rose is from Minnesota, and at the age of 15 became of the youngest people to ever make Team USA Wheelchair Basketball in 2011. Now 20, Rose recieved a full scholorship from the Univsity of Texas at Arlington, where she studies Elementary Education for Disabled youth. At age 5, she lost two brothers in the accident that has impaired her spine for life.
RHI Sports Gala, now having completed 21 years, is of the cornerstones of donations for the Sports Program, headed by Addi King. Dedicated to providing competitive and non-competitive athletic opportunities to folks with physical disablities, helping enhance the quality of life, promote fitness, introduce recreational wheelchair sports and challenge participants to perform at a competitive level.
We had a blast, and I even sorta/kinda 'dressed up'. Well, no baseball jersey or hat anyway...
