Life 'changes' with a brain injury, it's a fact. Comfortability isn't home, if in fact this place is home? How DO the loved ones 'gear up' for the long battles ahead? Is it help, listening, working and understanding? Or is it time for a life change in total body and soul?
Personally, I moved back and purchased the house I was raised in - the first time. I was as comfy with my father as a survivor can be. Yet, the struggles, the fight, the battles wasn't familier, just the surroundings. Dad was fantastic in my recovery early on, wonderful. As he passed on, more than dad left with him. My leader, my corritive human and my accomplice left MY team. I have to battle on, in 'normal' Matt Duffin surroundings, 'Down on Main Street'.
A certain co-host survivor was 'home' in Alabama, but her recovery was on a "Dr Thompson' tumble, and death by suicide surrounding Jennifer's thoughts. Her battles will be discussed as she hopes you'll share interest, commonality and work to be accomplished. To help her much, I asked her to visit with me "Down On Main Street" to save hope. I'm an Unrealistic Belief kinda guy ya know.
Call us at (424) 243-9540 tonight at 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. to discuss, listen or talk. Pressing #1 will go to the Talk Line. Of the 47 (yippee) countries on BrainInjuryRadio, Bangledesh isn't one of them. I'm rockiing B-Desh music with the fold tonight - let's rock Imran style! (She's pretty, just hard for me to understand)
