Mark Asanovich recently completed his fifteenth season as a Strength & Conditioning Coach in professional football with the Hartford Colonials of the United Football League (UFL). A fourteen-year National Football League (NFL) veteran, Asanovich was hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2003 after spending six seasons as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for Head Coach Tony Dungy with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the 2002 season as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Baltimore Ravens. Prior to that he served as the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Minnesota Vikings. His list of NFL Hall of Famers and Pro Bowlers is extensive. He has been the strength and conditioning coach on championship teams at both the high school and college level, including the Ohio State Buckeyes.
He was one of the first fifteen Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists and former Minnesota State Director for the National Strength & Conditioning Association. 
Recognized in Who's Who Among American Teachers, Asanovich was a contributing author in Death in the Locker Room II:  Drugs and Sports (Elite Sports Medicine Publishers, 1993), and High Intensity Strength Training (Perigue Books: Putnam Publishing, 1993).  He has also published articles in The High Intensity Training Newsletter, The Conditioning Quarterly, and the Minnesota High School League Bulletin. Asanovich earned his bachelor’s degree in education from St. Cloud State University and his master’s in exercise science from The Ohio State University.
As a clinician, Asanovich has spoken nationally and abroad.
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, Asanovich played guard and linebacker at Duluth East High School. He and his wife, Allisen and daughters, Haley (11) and Gracie (9) and Wyatt (4) currently reside in Victoria, Minnesota.
