My name is Lisa Dryer and I am the survivor of a Brain injury, several TBI's and Multiple sclerosis among a host of other disease complications.
I feel that I have helped myself with my diseases and BI and TBI through positivity and a love of and appreciation of art!!! While not claiming to be an artist myself, I certainly spend a lot of time at museums and studying art and "messing around" with it! Tonight I am lucky enough to have an artist on the show with me!
Natalie Shumylo is a fantastic artist and is persevering with her fantastic art despite her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis! In fact she just had a gallery showing and sold some of her pieces! I can't wait to hear more about her artwork and introduce you all to this amazing lady who obviously pushes herself through everything to create beauty! At our last conversation she hinted to me about how it was through a rigorous schedule that she was able to get it done -- and she paints EVERY DAY! Let's find out more about her!
As an extra she is going to talk to us about how she does commissions! I can't wait!
I find art incredibly healing?
DO YOU? Call in and listen or talk to me! 424-243-9540
