Being brain injured sometimes makes it tough to understand what our family and loved ones are saying. Understanding what is actually being said is difficult for most adults, but someone who has communication troubles will find it even tougher. When our loved ones get frustrated that "we just don't get it" and say "never mind", we usually have no idea what just happened. Interpreting body language, reading between the lines and listening carefully are all important skills in forging new pathways in social settings.
How do you know someone is interested in you? Can you tell what signals are being sent? We will explore these things and hopefully give survivors some new hope in reading people like a book.
