DISABILITY MOVEMENTS CRUSHED - destroyed from with in

Killing unborn children with disability by screening them out playing god who gets to live, Denmark, Iceland and other have eliminated many disabilities.  Do you realize most of the great achievers of the past would have never been born with this way of thinking?  The power that disability once had has now been broken into little segments of people with disabilities all-fighting for the right to have a voice, even fighting each other.  As billions in profits are generated and profiteers raising money in the name of the disabled and little to none ever touches the average person with a disability. Many still controlled, abused and if a movement begins its flames easily put out; they have learned to have us attract ourselves.

When the idea of treating those with brain injury (knocked silly) or other types of brain disabilities came, it gave a impression of kindness–in some eyes, unearned kindness–to place individuals in “hospitals” specializing in Brain Health. 1773 marked the opening of the first such institution in the United States. Over the next 100 years, many new such hospitals opened, changing in design based on the latest theories of the time.

It is interesting to note that the transition of Brain health disabilities (BHDs) from criminal to illnesses corresponds roughly with political and social unease. 

Institutions and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

The use of institutionalization for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities is influenced more by economic factors than the political ones dealt with by those with MHDs. Rather than a protective stance that even jailing those with MHDs came from, it was a desire to teach those with intellectual and dd that they might work. These ideals would later become restrictive in the name of protection of society from the “feeble-minded menace.”
