MS is one of the most debilitating neurological diseases. It changed my life when I discovered that I had been diagnosed with it.
I only knew to continue approaching life as I always had: as a survivor! That does not imply that I did not make mistakes along the way - I had first been born premature and, as a preemie suffered a Brain Injury due to the lapsed care of a Neo-Natal nurse, so I know how to survive. When your goal has been surviving, you will make mistakes at some point!
Through friendship, family, spirituality, and the many MS role models I had, I began to beat back the monster of this disease.
Thereon, I opened up my life to a journey of adventure: Learning things normal people can do to enhance their lives after MS and brain injury.
