Karen Pudetti is a Top Salon Spa Owner & Consultant. She has written the book: Rags to Riches: How Beauty Icons Made It Big. She talks about how she did it, and how you can too, in this novel and online video course. Rags-to-Riches and Rags-to-Riches in Action provide a Roadmap for Business Success for Ambitious Entrepreneurs by telling stories through the eyes of Beauty Icons from every aspect of the beauty industry. Karen wanted to show her two daughters that anything is achievable if you put your mind to it.

From a financial background, Karen started from doing electrolysis and esthetics in her home to building the very successful  Luxe Salon Spa and Laser Center. She knew at 19 that she wanted to be her own boss and work in the beauty industry. With that as her true passion. Karen went back to school for electrolysis, wax & esthetic licenses. From a mom working from home, she became one of the nation’s leading consultants to other salon and beauty company owners!

Her younger daughter was diagnosed with ADHD; however, she loves animals and wants to be a vet, so all proceeds from her book go her ADHD foundation to provide funding for non-conventional schooling for people who have ADHD such as vet tech, cosmetology, and esthetics, etc. Karen encourages others to become owners of their own businesses. and realize their dreams by avoiding the mistakes she and others made along the way. In her book, she interviewed some of North America’s leading icons in the beauty industry to hear what wisdom they could offer. These superstars all experienced ups, downs, self-doubt, business and financial mistakes and more on their way to their ultimate success. But they did it, as did she, and you can, too.
